I don't have enough to say about how wonderful it was for the Roadrunners to come out to our school. The players did such an awesome job interacting with students by reading, answering their questions, signing autographs, and even playing with them outside. The students were in awe and really thought that this was a great experience. The players did a fantastic job! We really appreciated them coming out to our school and reading to the students. It was a really rewarding experience for everyone involved!

The Topeka RoadRunners elementary school program is called "Read With The RoadRunners".
Classrooms will spend an hour with a member of the Topeka RoadRunners hockey team. Players chat with kids about the importance of working hard in school, and they answer questions from the kids and read to the class.
