Larry Kettlewell

Goal Judge

 Larry_Kettlewell.jpg

Larry Kettlewell is the goal judge responsible for the Roadrunners attack zone.  As a former official with Topeka Youth Hockey, he’s held a variety of off ice positions including penalty box attendant, scorekeeper, and timekeeper.   The Black Shirts variously call him “Red Light” or “Lamplighter Larry”—and sometimes less flattering names.

As a dedicated hockey dad, he’s also acquired the qualities of amateur sport’s psychologist, coach and rink rat.  He follows the NHL and his favorite Calgary Flames.

Larry was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, met and married his wife Cathy in what the family considers to be their second home-- Calgary.  They have three daughters all former or current hockey players.

He also serves as a Member of the Board of Topeka Ice.
